For Sam Stoane, HMDC developed a creative identity system designed to visually reflect the same honesty, grit, and emotional depth found throughout her songwriting. Spanning logo development, brand identity, apparel graphics, album artwork, and social media reel creation, the work focused on building a world around Sam’s music that felt cinematic, timeless, and unmistakably human. Inspired by the tension between classic folk storytelling and modern country edge, the visual direction embraced vintage forms, grounded typography, natural textures, and understated grit without losing a sense of refinement or femininity.
Beyond the visual identity itself, the project centered heavily on creative strategy and audience connection, translating the atmosphere of Sam’s music into a cohesive experience across streaming platforms, merchandise, album releases, and short-form video content. From emotionally driven reels to apparel that felt lived-in rather than overdesigned, every touchpoint was built to reinforce authenticity and strengthen the connection between artist and listener.
